Journeyman Electrician 2

Responsible for the development and execution of software validation checklists and use-cases. Implements effective testing techniques and process improvements to ensure the quality of software products being released meets all customer requirements.

Develops and maintains software metrics for measuring product quality. Writes software quality assurance and validation procedures. Contributes to improvement of the overall software life-cycle development process. Interfaces with Engineering in developing and testing software specifications. Supervises the activities of all Validation personnel.

Minimum Education

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Certification in Software Quality Engineering desired.

Minimum Experience

• Five years of Software QA experience.
• Three years experience testing software in a production setting including developing software checklists and use-cases.
• At least one year of experience in supervision of software test or development personnel.

MUST HAVE GOOD DMV RECORD, HARD WORKER, NO SLACKERS AND A TEAM PLAYER IS A MUST. USUALLY START AT 5AM AT OUR GARDEN GROVE SHOP.

• Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations and the ISO 13485 Standard.
• Knowledge of software process and assessment models, including ISO 15504, IEEE software standards, IEEE/EIA 12207, SEI Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), etc., in a variety of situations.
• Ability to write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Develop and implement Software Quality Assurance plans.
• Experience in working with mechanical, electrical, and software products.
• Knowledge of sampling plans and statistics.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines
• Microsoft Office 2003 skills.
