Advatech Pacific is an established Aerospace & Defense Engineering firm supporting our customers with engineering, modeling, research and development, design and analysis services. Currently we have a Manufacturing Engineer position open in Elyria, Ohio
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This Manufacturing position will require a minimum of 3-5 years Manufacturing experience.
Primary Qualifications include:
- 3- 5 years Manufacturing experience with strong analytical skills.

A good working knowledge of lean manufacturing, product planning and routing.

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes for Fuel Tanks, Fuel/Hydraulic Actuators and Aircraft Systems is highly desired.

Must have attention to detail and understand the need for accuracy, timeliness and quality in assigned work tasks.

Other desired skills are knowledge of CAD Software, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies.

Knowledge of various Manufacturing Software and Tracking tools such as Solumina.

Extensive use of MS Office tools and strong written skills a must.
Education
Requires a B.S. in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
