Job Description

Advatech Pacific is currently seeking an Catia/NX Designer. This position will be located in our Phoenix office.  The primary focus will be on modeling and design of Mechanical Components and Systems. Catia will be the primary software utilized. The ideal candidate will participate in regular meetings to coordinate design details with clients, designers, engineers and management.

Skills & Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated design and modeling experience with mechanical components in Catia.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NX experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Gas Turbine Engines, Rotors, Shafts and Blades is highly desirable or experience with aircraft structures and composites in the following area’s; Design, fabrication, and analysis of composites, formed aluminum, cast, and other metallic components.
  • Experience with Fuel, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Valves/Actuators is a plus.
  • Detailed experience utilizing ISO processes in the accomplishment of daily tasks.
  • Experience with utilizing GD&T is a plus.

 

Education

Requires a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
