Senior Financial Analyst

Position Purpose As a Senior Financial Analyst you are responsible for a portion of the day-to-day and month-end FP&A activities, as well as monthly analysis, reporting, and forecasting. You are also responsible for improving process related to budget, forecasting and ad hoc analysis. What you’re accountable for
  • Perform monthly FP&A functions, such as preparing the monthly revenue forecast, the monthly forecast for various cost centers, as well as creating and analyzing financial reports, cost centers and accounts
  • Assist in management and improvement of month-end forecasting procedures
  • Assist in creation of the annual budget
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial reports to Management and the Board of Directors
  • Coordinate with different departments to develop reports to facilitate improved forecasting and management reporting
  • Assist in creating and monitoring sales pipelines and commission plans
  • Support business managers by providing necessary information for decision making and assist in resolving issues
  • Coordinate finance matters with other departments, locations, and divisions


What skills are required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPA is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
  • Big 4 Accounting experience is preferred
  • Understands and balances the relationship between business processes, management needs and financial reporting requirements
  • Must have solid computer skills with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Budget/forecasting or accounting system experience is a plus
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting and consolidations
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of employees
  • Exercises critical independent judgment and makes decisions based on rational analysis of data
  • Able to multitask and balance between completing the required processes and improvement-related projects

  • Intellectual curiosity with a desire to improve processes and take on additional responsibilities
