As an Application Administrator at Advicent, you will install, administer, and support customer enterprise applications at client sites and hosted data centers.
Provide installation, configuration, and
support for Advicent web based applications.
Work with customers and the development team to
troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
Install, configure, tune, troubleshoot, and
apply patches to data center components that host and support Advicent
Maintain 99.9% availability of production platform
systems and hosted web applications.
Provide off hours support, as needed, to support product
updates, equipment upgrades, and technical issues.
Support the application upgrade process by
testing upgrades, patches, and changes in a test environment and subsequently
rolling the changes into the production environment.
Develop and enhance procedures for installing,
configuring, and testing Advicent applications.
Troubleshoot issues in a multi-tiered web
Act as a point-of-contact to answer stakeholder
and customer inquiries.
Work as a team member with other technical staff, to
ensure smooth operation between systems and applications.
Assist the security team in maintaining and improving
the security posture of the organization.
Assist in developing and enhancing the disaster recovery
Perform other tasks and duties as needed/assigned.
Work with outside vendors and customers as needed.
1. Bachelor’s Degree
in a computer science, information technology, or a related technology
2. Working knowledge
of Windows Server operating systems and Microsoft internet information server.
3. Must be
self-directed with the ability to work with minimal oversight.

6. Demonstrated organizational,
analytical, and problem solving skills.
7. Knowledge with
software development processes is a plus.
