Clinical Specialist

Position Summary:

The clinical specialist is responsible for providing per diem case coverage support, technical support, and physician and nurse training support services.   

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide per diem case coverage support to Physicians, Hospital Staff, and other Healthcare Personnel to ensure proper and optimal use of the surgical device.
• In conjunction with Territory Sales Manager, provide case and clinical support during product evaluations to prospective customers.
• Keep current on all product literature and industry developments
• Ensure all product issues or concerns are properly addressed to ensure long term customer satisfaction.
• Report customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests within 24 hours of being notified.
• Complete all required reports weekly.
• Comply, meet, and abide by all territory healthcare facility vendor credentialing polices.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): 

• 3 years clinical experience
• 2+ years’ experience in the OR
• Proven ability to demonstrate competencies:  Action Oriented, Sense of urgency, Perseverance, Learning on the fly and attention to detail
• Knowledge of computer applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment consistent with organizational and department guidelines.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 years of outside clinical applications or sales experience preferably in the GYN specialty
• Experience in Sales and/or Sales support
