WRT is growing and looking for a Junior Landscape Architect Designer to join our studio in San Francisco.
We are seeking a talented & passionate Landscape Architect / Designer with 2-5 years experience for the San Francisco office of WRT. Design practice ranges from planning to detailed landscape architectural design and implementation for parks, waterfronts, urban revitalization studies, urban parks, streetscapes, campus and institutional projects, and coastal resilience and climate adaptation projects.
Pay Range: $73,000 -$78,000
Responsibilities include:
- Involvement in all stages of project development from concept to implementation
- Attend and prepare for public presentations and client meetings
- Prepare and iterate on illustrative graphics
- Participate in fieldwork and engagement events
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
- 2-5 years of experience
- Commitment to design excellence, community resiliency, social equity, ecological function, and urban revitalization
- Strong design, and graphic communication
- Strong computer skills (including AutoCAD, 3D Modeling, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Suite)
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with construction documentation and implementation
- Knowledge of local California plant materials, and skills in community engagement are desirable
Desired Qualifications (but not mandatory):
- Licensure would be an additional plus!
- Spanish speaking / writing language skills are an additional plus!
Compensation & Benefits Include*:
- The expected pay range for this position is between $73,000-$78,000 annually, dependent upon education, skills, experience, skillset
