Job Description

Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to those in need?

SkillSpring is looking to hire the next generation of healthcare workers through our unique and comprehensive Young Adult Certified Nursing Assistance (C.N.A.) Program at various Nursing Homes throughout Manhattan and the Fort George area of the Bronx.

  • This program is FREE
  • Pays an hourly rate of $16 per hour with stipends (i.e. MetroCard’s for travel, etc.)
  • Upon graduation and successful completion of your C.N.A. Certification, you are guaranteed:
    • Employment
    • An hourly increase to $21 per hour
    • The ability to become a member of the 1199 Union after a certain period of time.

Skills & Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be between the ages of 18 to 27 participate.
  • Referral will be made for youth 16-17 who do not qualify for the program.
  • Upon graduation, you will be required to work for a period of one (1) year, before leaving employment.
