Job Description

Unicorn HRO has an opportunity for a HR, Benefits, and Payroll Solutions Specialist to provide sales and marketing support for our organization.  This is a high exposure, multifaceted position where consistent, exceptional performance will be required and rewarded. The HR, Benefits, and Payroll Solutions Specialist partners with Sales Representatives, on new accounts, upsells existing accounts on additional products or services. Works with certified partners to demo and understand their solution. This Solutions Specialist position is responsible requirements gathering for the successful demonstration of our HRIS/Payroll and Outsource Solution, this position works closely with sales people during the prospect needs analysis phase to assist in uncovering and clearly identifying prospect’s critical business issues for mid-and-large accounts.  This is a high exposure position where consistent, exceptional performance will be required and rewarded.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops relationships with prospects by building rapport with the decision makers and key stakeholders.
  • Performs needs analysis with prospective client in all areas of the Unicorn HRO HCM suite including (but not limited to) payroll, time and labor management, human resources, benefits administration, and applicant tracking
  • Reviews and analyzes needs analysis details to determine solution fit and/or necessary customizations
  • Conducts product demonstration with messaging techniques to establish the buyer connection to Unicorn HRO and how we can meet their requirements. Ability to prepare response to prospects Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Information (RFI)
  • Ability to deliver a live demo of all Unicorn HRO products to clients
  • Represents Unicorn HRO at local and national trade shows and product seminars as needed
  • Assist in RFP responses, presale discovery calls, solution presentations and follow-up on open issues.
  • Engage appropriate professional service teams to estimate professional services for the solution proposal.
  • Work with professional service teams and assist in the explanation and knowledge transfer of presales discovery information, presentation content and proposed solutions to the implementation team.
  • Prepare and deliver customized solution presentations of Unicorn HRO based on the needs analysis phase and the prospect’s critical business issues.

  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of related professional experience: (i.e. Human Resources, Payroll and/or Benefits)

Education and Certifications:

  • BS degree or equivalent in education and relevant experience.
  • PHR and CPP Certifications desired but not required

Special Working Conditions:

  • Minimal travel required
