Job Description

Burger Rehabilitation Systems Inc. has provided therapy services since 1978. We seek an exceptional Remote Medical Call Center Scheduler for a full-time position.

You MUST be fluent in English/Spanish.

You MUST be available Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

You MUST reside in the 'general' location of Sacramento, California. While this position is remote, we MAY require your presence in the corporate office located in the general Sacramento area.

We prefer two to five years of scheduling/call center experience and/or experience in a medical environment.

The scheduler is responsible for ensuring patient schedules at clinics are full, patients are scheduled in a timely manner and accurate initial patient information is obtained.  The scheduler assists in other office tasks including but not limited to receipt and appropriate distribution of mail, data entry, and completes related work as required.

Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Answer scheduling telephones.

Contact patients for scheduling.  Obtain all necessary telephone information from the patient to ensure proper scheduling. Register patients in billing and scheduling systems.

Maintain accurate patient schedule at all times

Communicate schedule to the appropriate individuals. Forward necessary information as needed.  Advise Supervisor of scheduling issues including cancellation problems.

Implement schedule changes when necessary to keep schedule(s) full (e.g. contacts patients to come in sooner, rearranges schedule for cancellations, etc.).

Receive, sort and distribute emails frequently and accurately as directed.

Complete other data entry tasks and related work as assigned/required.

Assist others as time allows (e.g. faxing, calls to/from physician offices, etc.).

Operate all office equipment as necessary in the performance of duties.

Attend meetings as required.
