Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study, or equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
- Minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis concepts, terminology, and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Statutory accounting principles and rules.
- Strong knowledge of P&C actuarial practices and analysis.
- Mastery of corporate financial measures and key performance indicators.
- Strong business acumen, preferably in the property and casualty industry.
- Ability to drive results in a matrixed organization.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong business partnering, stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Strong learning agility and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to synthesise and analyse various forms of information including financial, operational and qualitative and make insightful observations and recommendations for effective financial controls and management.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills including ability to present detailed financial information in a concise and summarized format.
