Position: Speech Adjunct Instructor
Location: All Campuses
Department: Division of General Education, Online Learning, & Dual Enrollment
Reports to: Divisional Academic Dean
Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree with 18 semester hours in speech or communication, Master’s degrees in Journalism do not meet SACS accreditation. Also, graduate hours in journalism, education, or teaching are not sufficient.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and work ethic.
- Willingness to teach at all Athens Technical College locations.
- Willingness to teach Athens Technical College courses on area high school campuses.
- Willingness to teach using all college approved methods (Ex. face to face, online, audio /video, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
- Experience with online teaching platforms; Blackboard preferred.
