Position: Business Manager (IOTIS)
Location: Athens Campus
Department: Athens Technical College’s Institute for Online Training and Instructional Systems (IOTIS)
Reports to: IOTIS Project Director
Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.

Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of administrative and technical support functions that support web-based instruction.
- Manage day-to-day office operations and support functions for the Project Director and Assistant Project Director of IOTIS.
- Assist the Project Director with hiring processes for new IOTIS staff; provide orientation and ensure completion of training for new employees.
- Assist in developing, monitoring, and maintaining the annual IOTIS project proposal and budget; prepare and submit monthly invoices to the client.
- Compile monthly programmatic reports.
- Record financial transactions and analyze and reconcile accounting records.
- Coordinate the approval of contracts related to IOTIS operations.
- Prepare and manage a wide range of documents, such as memos of agreement, requisitions, purchasing card statements, travel statements, payroll, leave, and other forms on behalf of the department.
- Coordinate ongoing hotel direct bill agreements approval process.
- Oversee successful submission of hotel direct bill weekly invoice report to DFCS.
- Coordinate hotel accommodations and meeting space for staff development and deliverable meetings with the client; assist with travel arrangements for IOTIS staff.
- Assist with quality control of online course content and specific tasks related to the IOTIS LMS as needed.
- Assist with data entry and reporting for any systems used by IOTIS.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong computer/technical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- A quick learner, detail oriented, and highly organized individual with a demonstrated ability to meet established deadlines.
- Must be able to work in-person at the Athens, GA campus.
Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field *and* five years’ experience.
**IOTIS is contract funded by the Georgia Department of Human Services with potential for renewal. **
