Principal Software Engineer - Java/API

You will be helping us to develop back-end services that support our dynamic scanning solution including job command and control and results compilation, and continue to increase capacity to match increasing demand. On the job you will interact with AWS services like EC2, SNS, SQS, RDS, and Elasticache, while working within Spring Boot based applications. Build infrastructure capable of handling tens of thousands of events per second from processes running anywhere in the world.

·         Multi-year experience as a Java developer focusing on either full stack or backend development

·         Experience with SQL databases

·         Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development

·         Willingness to work as part of a team

·         Intellectual curiosity

Useful skills include experience with:

·         Spring/Spring boot

·         JUnit and mocking frameworks

·         AWS services
