Behavior Analysts are encouraged to consider an outstanding part-time career opportunity with Liberty Healthcare Corporation.

In the near future, Liberty Healthcare will open a new Enhanced Behavioral Supports Home (EBSH) in Santa Barbara County (Lompoc) which will exclusively serve adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and behavioral challenges. 

This home will utilize intensive interdisciplinary clinical services, employ competent and well-trained direct care staff, utilize best practices in person-centered care, and be set in a well-resourced three-bed residential home in the community.

Liberty Healthcare seeks a BCBA or BCaBA for a newly-created part-time ‘Qualified Behavior Modification Professional’ position, which will be responsible for:

  • Working 20 hours each week
  • Providing behavior modification intervention services to a small caseload of adult clients
  • Conducting functional assessments of clients to identify factors that are maintaining dangerous, maladaptive and disruptive behaviors
  • Designing, implementing and monitoring the efficacy of behavioral plans
  • Training staff and other stakeholders
  • Actively participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Rapidly responding to individual client needs
  • Serving as a member of the program's management team

Skills & Requirements

You’re an excellent fit for this position if you possess the following attributes:

  • Board Certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) 
  • At least two years of experience designing, supervising and implementing behavior modification services for people who have intellectual disabilities 
  • Ability to effectively serve adults who have intellectual disabilities as well as mental illness and severe behavioral challenges
