Full-time Registered Nurse positions are now available with Liberty Healthcare’s mental health program at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.  With over 3,000 beds, the West Valley Detention Center is one of the largest county jails in the United States. Liberty Healthcare provides comprehensive services within the jail to those adult inmates who are experiencing mental illness.

As a RN with Liberty Healthcare, you will fulfill a vital role and be responsible for:

  • Helping to significantly improve the health of individuals who are struggling with mental illness
  • Conducting patient assessments to determine medical and mental health status
  • Contributing to the development and management of individual treatment plans
  • Delivering a wide array of primary care and psychiatric nursing services
  • Collaborating with Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners and Mental Health Clinicians
  • Delivering health education to individual patients and groups

As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect:

  • Starting pay between $45.00 and $50.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)
  • 12 hour shifts with the option to the work day shift or night shift

Skills & Requirements

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed in California as a Registered Nurse.  Prior experience in a mental health / psychiatric setting is helpful but not required.
