Job Description

A full-time GPS Facility Coordinator position is available with Liberty Healthcare and the Indiana Sex Offender Management and Monitoring Program.

The mission of the Indiana Sex Offender Management and Monitoring Program is to promote public safety by reducing recidivism in convicted adult and adjudicated juvenile sexual offenders.

As a GPS Facility Coordinator with Liberty, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on public safety.

You will work directly with incarcerated sex offender inmates who are preparing for parole and transition into the community. 

You will work in-person Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm onsite at the New Castle Correctional Facility in New Castle, Indiana.

Your responsibilities in role include:

  • Gathering and analyzing data, clinical documentation, and other pertinent information
  • Identifying static and dynamic risk factors impacting community safety
  • Collaborating with behavioral health professionals, parole agents, and other stakeholders
  • Actively participating in planning meetings regarding community placement and supervision requirements
  • Setting up GPS services and technology
  • Educating inmates on GPS monitoring to optimize compliance
  • Organizing, documenting, and reporting on inventory and technology usage

Skills & Requirements

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

  • Experience working with parolees, probationers, or others who are justice-involved
  • Case management or community-based service coordination experience
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a wide range of professionals
  • Solid organizational and technology skills
  • Experience with GPS or similar monitoring technology is preferred but not required.
