You are match for this position if you possess the following:
- At least three years of professional experience in service to older adults and/or people who are living with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of person-centered practices and Charting the LifeCourse
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles
- Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work well with a high degree of autonomy
- Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills
- Ability to develop rapport with a wide array of personalities and maintain composure during challenging situations
- Bachelor’s degree – ideally in Social Work, Special Education, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or another social / health / human services field
Please note – the requirement for a Bachelor’s degree may be waived if you have at least five years of professional experience in service to older adults and/or people who are living with developmental disabilities.
Since this position requires daily travel throughout the region, you must have a reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.
You have relevant work experience and transferrable skills if you’ve worked as a Social Worker, Investigator, Service Coordinator, Case Manager, Case Worker, Program Specialist, Human Services Specialist, Care Navigator, Client Advocate, Detective, law enforcement professional, or Quality Specialist / Quality Improvement professional.
