In partnership with Maryland’s Developmental Disabilities Administration, Liberty Healthcare operates a statewide program which endeavors to develop continuous quality improvement processes that enhance person-centered service delivery and support to people who are living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, so they may live their best lives.
To support this initiative, Liberty is now hiring for a full-time Utilization Reviewer position.
As a Utilization Reviewer, your daily work will involve:
- Conducting audits of services provided to people with developmental disabilities
- Reviewing and analyzing Medicaid claims
- Analyzing actual services provided against contracted service levels and hours
- Conducting in-person and phone/video interviews of individuals served as well as their caregivers

This is a remote first position which will allow you to primarily work from your home office.
Travel throughout the Maryland Eastern Shore, Anne Arundel County, and other locations throughout Maryland is required and estimated at 15%.
The work schedule for this position is primarily Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm with occasional requirements for after-hours work.
