Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for an available Lead Clinician position with our award-winning forensic mental health program which is located onsite at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
This cutting-edge program provides court-mandated forensic assessments, psychiatric stabilization, and restoration of competency to people who have been deemed incompetent to stand trial due to mental illness.
As a Lead Clinician, you will enjoy an array of leadership and direct care responsibilities, including:
- Conducting psychosocial evaluations
- Providing cognitive-behavioral treatment and psychoeducation to individual clients and groups
- Documenting treatment services and writing reports
- Communicating with family and collateral contacts
- Taking a leadership role in treatment team meetings
- Providing training and consultation to clinical, ancillary and security staff
- Assisting with the assignment of new patients to treatment team members
- Helping to ensure program clients receive high quality clinical services
- Collaborating with program leadership
As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect:
- Starting salary between $95,000 and $115,000 (depending on qualifications)
