Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Property Manager to oversee a property with 200 units of affordable housing. You will join a team responsible for a large community of family and senior housing in Boston’s historic South End. The work hours are 9:00-5:00 Monday-Friday. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

·       Supervision over Section 8 and LIHTC recertifications.

·       Completing AMR/MOR audits.

·       Qualifying applicants for new occupancy.

·       Waitlist management.

·       Rent collections.

·       Legal management.

·       Unit and common area inspections.

·       Collaboration with the maintenance team to complete apartment turnovers and work orders.

·       Managing resident relations.

·       Overall office management and supervision of staff.

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy. Well-developed organizational and time management skills will also be key to success in this role.

·       Previous experience in property management, including Project-Based Section 8 and LIHTC program administration, is required.

·       COS, CPO, C3P, or other designations would be a plus.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required; experience with Yardi is preferred.

·       Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
