Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in the West End neighborhood of Boston, MA. You will be working closely with the Maintenance Superintendent and Property Manager. The duties you will be responsible for will include:

• Overseeing and participating in completing daily work orders, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance.
• Keeping the Property Manager and Maintenance Superintendent up-to-date on any work that needs to be done.
• Preparing buildings for inspections.
• Updating records and reports related to maintenance.

The work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00-4:00 with on-call duties shared on rotation with the Maintenance Superintendent (every other week). 

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.

• Knowledge of general apartment repair and previous experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work is required.
• Experience with Yardi or other work order systems is a plus
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
• This position includes participation in the emergency on-call rotation and snow removal.
