Job Description

We are seeking candidates for an Assistant Property Manager to support a large portfolio of affordable housing in Dorchester and Roxbury, MA. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

·       Leasing open units.

·       Conducting recertification interviews and completing recertification paperwork.

·       Collecting and processing rent payments.

·       Managing collections and legal notices.

·       Updating the waiting lists.

·       Providing customer service to our residents and other administrative duties to support the portfolio.

The work hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will be based at our office in Dorchester and will work at other sites in Dorchester and Roxbury as needed.

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate with excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong customer service and communication skills will also be key to success in this role. 

·       Previous experience with affordable housing programs, including Section 8 and LIHTC, is required.

·       Certifications such as the COS and C3P would be a plus.

·        A driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

·        Candidates should be bilingual (Spanish/English).
