Job Description

We are seeking an Access Coordinator/Maintenance Assistant to support our residential properties in the South End neighborhood of Boston, MA. Some of the duties you will be responsible for will include:

·       Coordinating and providing access to contractors and vendors into units and common area spaces throughout the portfolio.

·       Keeping our property management software up-to-date and accurate.

·       Maintaining communication with the Maintenance Team regarding any items of concern.

·       Working with the Senior Superintendent on larger capital projects.

·       Performing in-unit repairs and preventative maintenance.

·       Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry work, and general building maintenance.

·       Participation in snow removal and groundskeeping.  

The work hours will be Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00. 

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.

·       The ability to work as part of a supportive and cohesive team, as well independently, is required.

·       The ability to communicate professionally by phone and email while using a smartphone app is required.

·       Previous experience with Yardi or other management software is preferred.

·       Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

·       A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
