Your Responsibilities

Methunion Manor Cooperative is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a team of housing professionals in the South End area of Boston, MA.  The property consists of 149 units of Project Based Section 8 and market rate housing. The community also has 5 commercial spaces. The work hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.  The candidate will be responsible for answering multiple phone lines, greeting visitors, updating waitlists, providing leasing assistance, making bank deposits and rent collections, processing work orders, processing invoices, processing move ins/outs, distributing mail, and assisting with special projects.  Some Saturdays are required.      

Skills & Requirements

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with excellent time management, communication and organizational skills with a strong customer service mindset.

  • Previous administrative experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) are required.
  • Experience with Yardi or another property management software would be a plus.
  • MS Office experience is required. Knowledge of Yardi is a plus. 
  • CPO/COS is a plus but not required.

Salary Range: $23.00 to $26.00 p/hr depending on experience.
