  • Aid in the execution of events according to the event, ensuring event service standards are met
  • Participate in the communication with all internal Marta and USHG departments ensuring successful preparation, setup, operation, breakdown, and closing out of events
  • Be a high touch component for all event contacts, hosts and vendors
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of event operations SOPs
  • Follow the event labor plan created by the Event Operations Manager per day
  • Supervise and support the Events team & In Room Dining/ Event Support team
  • Ensure that the event spaces, event offices, storage areas, and equipment are organized and well maintained at all times
  • Serve as liaison for key hotel departments related to events (Housekeeping, Front Desk, Engineering, Hotel Executive Team)
  • Enhance guest relationships and drive repeat business
  • Provide accurate and in depth feedback to Marta Events Sales Team and Director of Event Operation to encourage the continued growth of the business
  • Support the Event Operations Manager in their day to day job tasks as required
