Specific Accountabilities:

  • Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival. When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant. You must always have a smile on your face and must always be upbeat and positive.
  • When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people in party.
  • Provide guests with estimated waiting time utilizing seating software as a guide.
  • Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
  • Ensure proper pacing of the restaurant by communicating with the restaurant managers.
  • Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations. Do not overload any server at any one time and ensure that all sections receive a fair share of the business. The seating software will help you do this.
  • Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their serves name. Thank them warmly for visiting us and before you leave, inspect the table for proper presentation and completeness.
  • Relay messages to servers and bus-persons as needed. Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
  • Stock the retail shelves and help guests with purchasing retail goods.
  • At least 2-4 times during service check the guest restrooms, public areas and the vestibule and ensure they are clean and tidy.
  • Ensure all menus are presentable and in a good condition.
  • Take reservations in the seating software and make communicate with a manager when there is a party request.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that will win guests for life.   
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for meeting expectations, goals, and quality of work. 
  • Communicate clearly and in a timely manner and use constructive feedback to make improvements. 
  • Work together as one team by recognizing accomplishments, demonstrating respect and appreciation, and actively helping others. 
  • Execute with operational integrity by anticipating problems, taking preventative measures, and adapting to changes that improve our operations or guest experience. 
  • Consistently follow Busch’s policies and procedures.
  • Share our passion for our products by being familiar with our products and services and actively seeking and sharing that information.  



Education, Experience and Skills:

  • No previous training or experience is necessary.
  • Proficient communication skills, including written, verbal and listening skills.
  • Proficient engagement skills to make decisions and solve problems to improve the guest’s experience.
  • Proficient cleaning abilities to meet visual standards.

Physical Requirements:


  • Lifting - Up to 25 lbs.
  • Standing - Approximately 100% of shift
  • Bending/Twisting/Kneeling - Approx 40% of shift
