Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Manager, Product Marketing will be an inspirational leader of the product marketing team and own strategy for key components of Greenway Health’s products and services. This position will have broad responsibility for the strategic development of our brands and products across the full range of marketing and promotions programs. The Manager, Product Marketing will be responsible for managing creative development, product innovation and launch commercialization, market intelligence, product positioning, collateral development, sales enablement, and assisting in maximizing sales success of each product. The Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for driving the product marketing strategy and developing product messaging for the deployment of new features and functionality for existing products as well as new products and serves as a subject matter expert relative to the sales positioning of each. The successful candidate for this role will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, combined with the capacity to both ‘think and do’. Experience in technology and/or healthcare is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Product Marketing efforts for a full portfolio of software products and enhancements, including go-to-market and saturation strategy development via an understanding of industry factors, buyer personas, and competitive landscape.
  • Develops and manages rollout of marketing materials with support of the Product Marketing team.
  • Identifies the relevant market facing positioning of key benefits of our products with the purpose of providing education to sales, marketing and other customer and prospect facing Greenway assets.
  • Leads the development of print and interactive collateral and sales tools to promote the product features and functionality of each of the products including, but not limited to, illustrative thought leadership and competitive messaging.
  • Provides subject matter expertise relative to our products for the purposes of preparing RFPs, articles in industry publications and internal sales training materials.
  • Partnering with and supporting the sales organization in effective selling and customer engagement.
  • Driving product launch planning and activation in market across marketing and other contributing client-facing teams.
  • Provides subject matter expertise relative to the competitive aspects of our software solutions through partnering with our Market and Competitive Intelligence team and analyzing data. Aids with competitive positioning and targeting of users or prospects of competitive solutions.
  • Sets Product Marketing team up for success in being able to deliver product related presentations and demonstrations for the purpose of developing internal sales knowledge and lead generation.

 

Skills & Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications; Masters preferred

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven years of marketing experience in a corporate environment
  • Minimum of three management experience

 

Skills and knowledge:

  • Experience building and managing marketing strategy including customer segmentation, value propositions, key messaging, product positioning and client-centric story development and communicating this strategically throughout the organization
  • Excellent leadership and employee development skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing and managing marketing related to the entire product life cycle
  • Experience creating and managing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Ability to translate product and feature capabilities into easily understood messages that can be used for multiple purposes
  • Ability to communicate product information in a concise and understandable manner that can be used by sales personnel to enhance their ability to sell
  • Ability to engage and interact with technical teams and management teams
  • Experience with and ability to engage, interact with and support sales teams
  • Proven experience leading across complete marketing mix, including specific results in performance marketing.
  • E-commerce site management experience preferred
  • Effective communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Strong work ethic and can-do attitude, along with the ability to work independently
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and website content management systems, web analytics and media and social media distribution and tracking tools
  • Must enjoy working with information that is technical in nature and could tailor that information for both lay and specialized audiences
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships
  • Proven ability to collaborate with, flex to, and support multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Confidence and poise when presenting to and interacting with executive leadership
  • Results-oriented and data-driven personality
