Job Description

Job Summary

The IT Manager supervises direct reports on the Greenway Business Applications Team who are responsible for administering, enhancing, developing and maintaining the business systems that the organization uses in daily operations. The IT Manager is expected to be a technical and working manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·  Responsible for functions and systems covered under the Business Applications team which include but are not limited to

o CRM org with 1,100+ users

o    Custom Salesforce Communities

o    Managed packages within Salesforce

o    Oracle CPQ Cloud pricing and quoting engine

o    Dynamics AX 2012 R2 / Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

o    Oracle 19c logic and integration database

o    Oracle Application Express

o    Numerous C# and .net integration projects utilizing WCF

o    PL/SQL code library

o    SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reporting engine and custom reports

o    Domo self-service visualization and dashboarding system

·         Mentors junior developers and administrators and provides technical guidance

·         Manages to meet organization and department level objectives

·         Provides best-practice guidance in systems design and implementation

·         Codes software applications based on design specifications and requirements

·         Understands team strengths, plans and ensures adequate cross-training

·         Works closely with other members of the development team to develop, maintain, and enhance software applications

·         Documents processes, solutions, code changes and enhancements for feasibility, quality assurance and documentation departments

·         Provides technical support for existing software processes, systems and integrations

·         Interfaces with and provides solution guidance to internal users and stakeholders

·         Follows established development, documentation, testing and deployment processes

·         Responsible for managing and prioritizing project and work backlog; able to re-prioritize tasks as the business deems appropriate

Skills & Requirements


·         BA/BS in Management Information Systems or Computer Science

Minimum Qualifications

·         3-5 years of experience managing development teams, CRM teams, ERP systems administrators and developers or business analysts


·         Must be proficient in basic programming concept skills and knowledge of one or more of the following languages (languages needed will vary based on specific development department): java, .NET, C#, C++, javascript, html, JSON, JQuery, T-SQL, PL/SQL

·         Fundamental knowledge and understanding of general business processes (sales, finance, accounting, operations)

·         Strong problem-solving skills

·         Ability to think critically and holistically, working closely with the development team to minimize impact risk to downstream processes

·         Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills; primarily responsible for interfacing with internal customers

·         Must be able to produce specifications and determine operational feasibility from business requirements

·         Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and routine tasks concurrently

·         Ability to identify and track issues to successful resolution

·         Ability to work in a collaborative fast paced environment

·         Willingness to get involved with technical issues

·         Fundamental knowledge and understanding of general business processes (sales, finance and accounting)
