Sales Executive - Central/Western Territory

The Field Sales Executive is responsible for taking Greenway Health’s technology and service solutions to the Healthcare Market in a large multistate territory. This will be accomplished using technical, organizational, and relationship building skills while working with future clients. They will have an assigned quota and will be responsible for a comprehensive, full-cycle, solution sales process including creative lead generation, discovery, needs analysis, building vision, proving value, negotiations, and closings.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Begins and nurtures revenue generating opportunities by developing key markets and cultivating long term relationships with senior level current/future client contacts
  • Provides ongoing support to product distribution channel
  • Assists with the development of sales strategies which maximize existing relationships and identifies new opportunities
  • Functions as the primary point of contact for future clients prior to project initiation
  • Negotiates on a variety of financial and delivery-related issues
  • Communicates on a regular basis with appropriate internal leadership
  • Provides timely and accurate sales forecasts and activity reports
  • Executes business plan for assigned territory
  • Generates new business leads, follows up on marketing campaigns, and sets up qualified appointments with prospects
  • Conduct/lead demonstration presentations/meetings in tandem with Greenway Health Product Consultants
  • Keeps all account and prospect information timely and up to date in the firm’s CRM system for sales tracking purposes
  • Meets assigned sales quota in territory
  • Work in a synergy with Inside Sales counterpart(s)
Skills & Requirements


  • B.A./B.S. preferred
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • At least 3 years of proven success in direct outside sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Sales experience with large scale solutions
  • Proficient in conducting presentations to Senior Management/C-Suite
  • Up to 75% travel 
Skills and Knowledge: 
  • In depth understanding of key technology and healthcare concepts required to sell complex solutions
  • Ability to clearly articulate business issues and solutions and negotiate at Senior Management/C-Suite level
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required
  • Broad knowledge of, and an interest in, healthcare industry challenges, products, and services
  • A team player with a positive attitude and approach
