Job Description

Job Summary 

Manager, Product Development leads engineering teams that build and deliver high-quality software solutions that support business growth and customer success. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to guide technical execution, strengthen engineering practices, improve delivery performance, and help shape the future direction of our technology platform. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 
  • Provide development, implementation, and deployment guidance aligned with approved solution designs through collaboration with key stakeholders.  

  • Ensure engineering expertise is effectively deployed and integrated to meet project objectives, delivery commitments, and business requirements.  

  • Lead, coach, and support development teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.  

  • Establish and advance engineering best practices across all phases of the software development lifecycle.  

  • Provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction to ensure development activities align with both immediate business priorities and long-term organizational goals.  

  • Develop and enhance architectural frameworks that support scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.  

  • Manage technically focused Agile and Scrum teams, including distributed or multi-location teams when applicable.  

  • Drive operational efficiency, process improvement, and delivery excellence across engineering functions.  

  • Support adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices that improve productivity, quality, and team effectiveness.  

  • Partner with technical and business leaders to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and continuously improve delivery outcomes.  

 

 

 

 

 

Skills & Requirements

Education and Experience 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required; Master's degree preferred; 11+ years SDLC experience; 5+ years software development experience including complex lifecycle leadership responsibilities; Scrum leadership experience preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

Requirements

  • Strategic leadership, Agile delivery, architecture knowledge, stakeholder management, cloud technologies, DevOps, AI/ML awareness, software engineering expertise, mentoring capability, prioritization skills, and strong communication skills.

  • Should have hands on experience on C#, .NetCore, .NET Framework, .Net MAUI, Rest API, SQL, NodeJS, JavaScript based framework like Angular.

  • Strong knowledge of implementing and managing on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

  • Should have knowledge of messaging Queues or Event Driven

  • Should have knowledge on NoSQL Databases (Mongo DB, Cassandra etc.)

  • Should have hands-on experience on Python

  • Should have hands-on experience with AWS services, (S3, ECS, Docker, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Terraform etc) -certifications a plus

  • Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and hands on building AI Agents using known framework/libraries like Lang-chain, Lang-graph, Crew.ai, AWS Strands, RAG, MCP Server.

  • Hands on using and customizing productivity AI tools like OpenAI/Claude.

  • Should have hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD workflows

  • Should have hands-on experience on automation framework (Reqnroll, BDD, .C# .NET, Appium)

Leads engineering execution and process improvement initiatives, influences technical direction, manages delivery outcomes, and exercises independent judgment within established business and architectural frameworks.

  • Use approved AI-enabled engineering tools to accelerate software development, code analysis, and technical documentation activities. 

  • Review and validate AI-assisted outputs to ensure security, quality, maintainability, and compliance with engineering standards. 

  • Identify delivery bottlenecks, recurring defects, and workflow inefficiencies through AI-supported analysis and reporting. 

  • Improve repeatable engineering workflows through responsible automation while maintaining appropriate governance, review, and accountability controls.
