AI Usage and Accountability Requirements
- Use only approved AI tools and follow organizational requirements for confidentiality, security, data handling, and responsible AI use.
- Validate AI-generated summaries, analyses, risk signals, recommendations, and stakeholder communications against trusted source information before operational use.
- Do not treat AI output as approval, evidence, or a final decision without appropriate human review.
- Maintain traceability for material AI-assisted analysis when it informs release governance, escalation, or leadership communication.
- Use AI to reduce repetitive effort and improve analytical consistency while preserving human judgment for exceptions, tradeoffs, escalation, and recommendation quality.
- Escalate suspected AI errors, data-quality issues, inappropriate outputs, or governance concerns.
- Keep final ownership with accountable people.

Success Measures / Accountable Outcomes
-
Visibility and aging of unresolved risks, issues, dependencies, approvals, and actions.
AI Competency Alignment & Proficiency Expectations
-
Generative AI Reporting and Documentation - independently develops release and governance updates using approved generative AI tools, improves clarity and stakeholder relevance, and uses AI-assisted summaries to streamline reporting workflows.
-
AI-Driven PMO Governance Automation - uses approved workflow automation to improve reminders, evidence collection, governance compliance, approval tracking, and audit readiness.
-
Responsible AI Governance in PMO - validates AI-generated project and release insights, protects data, follows governance controls, and reinforces ethical and accountable AI use.
Authority and Autonomy
- Independently manage assigned analysis, dashboards, governance artifacts, reporting routines, requirements, process documentation, and improvement of work within established PMO standards.
- Raise data-quality concerns, readiness gaps, unresolved dependencies, process-control issues, and emerging risks to accountable owners.
- Recommend process, reporting, metric, workflow, and automation improvements based on evidence.
- Facilitate analysis and readiness discussions within assigned scope.
- Own the master release calendar, release documentation set, governance cadence, and readiness-review logistics within established PMO standards.
- Do not independently approve production go/no-go decisions, accept material release risk, authorize production changes, or override accountable functional owners.
- Do not own software builds, deployment scripting, CI/CD engineering, source-control administration, or production deployment execution unless a separate role assignment explicitly grants that responsibility.
