About the Position 

The Managing Director of Construction manages all key Goodwin Living capital projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope, hiring and managing external contractors, supervising in-house OPM staff, and overseeing all aspects of projects. T

Job Duties

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Communicate with all vendors and subcontractors to ensure they understand the performance standards related to predetermined schedules or plans and specifications.
  • Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Create action plans to meet objectives, budgets, and schedule.
  • Create and manage weekly internal project status reports.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to draft and complete specifications and standards for RFP’s/RPQ’s desired
