Pay: From $28 per hour to $34 per hour depending on experience
About the Position
As the IT Support Technician, you will provide fast and accurate technical assistance on computer systems. You will assist users with basic technical issues and provide solutions to those issues. You must be able to communicate effectively to the users issue, understand and resolve the issue. This role requires remote and on-site support. You will also provide technical assistance to computer users, answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or electronically. You will provide assistances concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word-processing, e-mail, and or operating systems. You will also participate in projects or tasks related to the implementation of more complex solutions.
Key Duties
- Diagnose, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Tier one support of help desk requests
- Install/configure computer workstations
- Assist users with computer hardware and software problems
- Keep inventory on hardware and software
Job Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with Kace 1000 service desk preferred
- Microsoft Certified Professional (Windows 10 or 2016 server) preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill required.
