About the Position
Goodwin Living (GL) seeks a dynamic leader to serve as the Director of Human Resources for The View Alexandria and Forest Hills of DC. This position works closely with the VP of HR and the Chief People Officer, as well as each Executive Director and their management teams. The HR Director is responsible for retention initiatives, employee relations, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, establishing systems and processes and team member development.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, with strong leadership and recruitment experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR and/or other HR certifications preferred
- Strong background in employee relations, including coaching and counseling and terminations
- Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication/presentation skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Commitment to learning
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
