About the Position
Goodwin Living is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented Sales & Events Associate to support the launch and growth of Goodwin House Chantilly (GHC), a new entrance-fee Life Plan Community in Loudoun County Reporting to the Director of Sales, this individual will coordinate sales events, provide administrative and marketing support, and help create a welcoming experience for prospective residents, families, and referral partners.
Goodwin Living just pre-sold Goodwin House Seminary Road nine months ahead of schedule, demonstrating the remarkable brand reputation of Goodwin Living as a senior living and health care services leader in the National Capital Region. We are eager and grateful to build our presence and service to older adults in Loudoun County with Goodwin House Chantilly.
The associate will support pre-opening sales efforts, helping prospects learn about a community before it is built, and continue supporting the team through opening and occupancy stabilization. Responsibilities include managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate customer records, coordinating communications, and organizing events that build awareness, generate leads, and strengthen relationships with future residents.
This position offers an opportunity for a successful sales professional to help shape a new community for older adults and bring the highly respected Goodwin Living brand to Loudoun County. Prior experience selling a Life Plan Community is preferred but is not required.
The pay is $60k-$65k with commission potential

Job Duties:
Sales Support and Guest Experience

Inquiry management: Respond warmly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries; capture relevant information and connect prospects with the appropriate Sales team member for timely follow-up.

Prospect and depositor support: Assist with Priority Club and reservation communications, organize application and reservation materials, and track required documents and next steps under the direction of the Sales team.

CRM and reporting: Maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) records, including lead sources, prospect activity, membership and reservation status, lost leads, event attendance, and follow-up tasks. Prepare reports to support sales planning and performance tracking.

Hospitality and readiness: Welcome guests, offer refreshments, and anticipate individual needs. Keep the Sales Center, meeting spaces, displays, and applicable tour areas clean, organized, inviting, and stocked with current materials.

Administrative coordination: Manage shared inboxes, distribute inquiries, prepare mailings, coordinate shipments, and maintain organized electronic files. Protect confidential prospect information and keep communication preferences and opt-out records current.

Supplies and inventory: Monitor and replenish brochures, office supplies, refreshments, event materials, and promotional items within established purchasing procedures.
Event Planning and Execution

Event coordination: Coordinate information sessions, prospect seminars, referral partner gatherings, Priority Club and reservist events, and other sales activities at the Sales Center, off-site venues, or online.

Planning and logistics: Maintain the event calendar and planning checklists. Coordinate venues, catering, room setup, audiovisual needs, accessibility requests, supplies, and vendor arrangements within approved budgets.

Guest communications: Prepare invitations, confirmations, reminders, name badges, registration materials, and RSVP lists. Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate guest needs to the team.

Event delivery: Coordinate with internal departments, external venues, and vendors. Support setup, registration, guest hospitality, presentations, webinar technology, and breakdown; address issues promptly and professionally.

Follow-up and results: Enter event activity into the CRM, organize lead lists and photos, support timely Sales follow-up, and prepare recaps of attendance, expenses, feedback, and resulting appointments.
Marketing Support

Campaign execution: Work with the Sales and Marketing teams and approved vendors to coordinate email campaigns, direct mail, promotional materials, and outreach activities.
Qualifications and Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with older adults, families, referral partners, and colleagues.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and remain composed during busy events.

A proactive, dependable approach to work, sound judgment, and a commitment to professionalism, discretion, and follow-through.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, including mail merge, spreadsheets, electronic file organization, and routine office equipment.
