Patient Care Extender St. John's Episcopal Hospital Apply View All Jobs Share This Job Job Description The Patient Care Extender participates in a patient-focused team approach to providing direct and collaborative health care in the inpatient clinical settings, which includes the Behavioral Health Units. Performs direct and indirect patient care duties. Under the direction of RN and or Physician and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, performs de escalation interventions, and therapeutic observations. Skills & Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Minimum of at least 1 year of full-time experience in Nursing or Psych/Behavioral Health or a combination of education , training and experience required.
