Octo is currently seeking a Software Developer (Junior) to join our growing team!
Responsibilities broadly include:
-Analyzes user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
-Designs and codes new software or modifies existing software to add new features.
-Debugs existing software and corrects defects.
-Integrates existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
-Develops simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
-Provides recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Developer
-Possess a Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field or have four additional years of relevant Software Engineer or related technical experience as a substitute for the for the Bachelor's Degree.
- Have an understanding of standard web service protocols (such as SOAP, REST, and OGC).
