Octo Consulting Group is seeking a Communication Specialist to streamline meeting logistics, provide administrative support to executive services, and prepare business correspondence.
Assist with planning, scheduling, organizing, and facilitating
Provide high quality administrative support that focuses on clear and concise communications
Provide logistical assistance as required, including developing agendas and presentation materials, scheduling speakers, booking appropriate meeting rooms, providing expertise and assistance with Cisco WebEx software, tracking action items, and taking appropriate minutes based on best practices
Craft meeting minutes with a particular focus on ensuring action items are clearly delineated, tasked to the correct individual, and associated with agreed upon due dates
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tasking that often requires quality products turned around within tight timelines
Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, listening)
Ability to multitask and work effectively, both independently and in teams, ensuring timely completion of assignments and meeting established quality standards
Expert knowledge and use of the MS Office suite (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project; Visio) to prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Cisco WebEx, Cisco Jabber, and Office Timeline
Bachelor’s Degree is required
