Job Description

Scheduling/Coordination/Precon:

  • Assist Superintendents in problem-solving to minimize risks.
  • Coordinate work between subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Ensure timely project procurement through scheduling and expediting material deliveries.
  • Support Project Manager/Office staff with field-related activities and subcontractor notifications.
  • Notify Architects/Engineers of required inspections.
  • Coordinate inspections by authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Manage third-party on-site testing and temporary facilities coordination.

Organization/Procedure:

  • Reinforce company, department, and technical policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with CCIP program requirements.
  • Assist in conducting weekly foreman meetings.
  • Verify T&M tickets and receipt of materials and equipment.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing project site logistics and temporary facilities plans.
  • Monitor project control reporting measures.
  • Develop and execute plans for completing punch list items.

Job/Project Knowledge:

  • Maintain knowledge of project plans, specifications, correspondence, and other related documents.
  • Monitor trade contractors' means and methods according to project contract documents.

Safety:

  • Assist in implementing safety programs and interpreting safety guidelines.
  • Notify stakeholders of work processes for safety purposes.
  • Conduct Site Safety Orientations as needed.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, quality of work, and safety standards.
  • Oversee layout and field engineering in compliance with project requirements.
  • Reinforce project-specific quality assurance and workmanship programs.
  • Maintain clean and organized site standards.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in construction coordination or related role.
  • Strong understanding of construction project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
