- Defines and documents customer business functions and process needs.
- Works with the business to document future business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, and change requests.
- Analyses the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.
- Tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications; writes detailed requirements documents that can be understood by the business, developers, and the QA team.
- Understands and adheres to the Business System Request Process.
- Take direction from Senior BA team member on implementing process improvements

Knowledge
- Understanding of the software business and Aptean’s internal processes
- Basic understanding of BA methodologies Strong understanding of business systems and processes
- Basic understanding of Agile methodology
- Basic understanding and experience of business/systems analysis skills, techniques and practices
- Ability to develop detailed Use cases and system design documents.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, initiative and decision making skills; strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
