The Work You'll Do: 

The Product Owner will perform “product owner” duties for at least one development team and will have career growth opportunities to expand management to additional teams over time. The Product Owner must use their technical background and understanding of the strategic product roadmap from the Product Manager and user feedback from operations to facilitate clear communication of priorities to the development team via an actively groomed backlog and well understood and explained user stories. They possess strong communication skills, are adept at collaboration cross functionally, especially with development and operations (support and professional services), and are effective at making and taking accountability for challenging prioritization decisions impacting many organizations.

More specifically, you will:

• Develop a thorough understanding of product strategy, user and compliance requirements through meeting and collaboration with product management and internal stakeholders and other research.
• Effectively communicates and reinforces product priorities to development via a backlog groomed in collaboration with the development team
• Facilitate sizing and estimation of product designs to enable effective prioritization and iteration on approach to maximize outcomes
• Provide “product owner” role for one or more agile development teams
• Ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs
• Translate strategic roadmap epics as well as feedback form operations into actionable user stories to be consumed by the development team
• Contribute to documentation, demos and communications to support product launches
• Participate in daily scrum meetings with the development team as well as various meetings with the product management team

What We Need From You:

• Around three years working in a similar type of role
• SAP user knowledge is required
• Experience in agile software product management preferably in “Product Owner” or “Business Analyst” role under SCRUM process is a plus
• Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Office, JIRA/Confluence, and other related project management and standard communications tools is required.
• Detail-oriented and extremely organized, with demonstrated ability to establish priorities and achieve results
• Very strong verbal and visual/written communication skills in English and Turkish
• Solid decision making skills in the face of imperfect data
• Ability to work well individually and within a team and a cross-functional organization
• Travel is not required in this position, however will work with remote teams including up-to -6 time zones away; must be willing to accommodate time zone differences to maximize team’s outcomes
