The Work You’ll Do:

Working as part of the Client Money Team, the Client Money Accountant is responsible for managing Client Money, allocating payments, reconciliations and dealing with internal queries. The Client Money Accountant is expected to liaise and clearly communicate with Managed Services Teams to ensure accurate timely payments are completed.

What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?

  • Accurately record all transactions made on behalf of clients
  • Ensure all payments are accurate and processed within strict deadlines
  • Reconcile multicurrency bank accounts to internal records
  • Ensure process documentation is kept up to date
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve issues; coordinate with appropriate internal departments to provide timely response and solutions
  • Efficiently collaborate with the Managed Services Teams and other departments to ensure all deadlines are being met
  • Maintain goals and key measures to ensure progress and alignment with desired business outcomes for clients
  • Ensure compliance with applicable taxing authorities and client-specified procedures by adhering to internal policies and procedures
  • Ensures internal policies and procedures are adhered to, based on established guidelines
  • Acts with integrity and demonstrates ethical behaviour in all matters with all stakeholders
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

 

What We Need From You:

  • At least 1+ years of overall accounting experience; knowledge of accounting processes and procedures desirable
  • Finance or accounting qualification desirable
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills in dealing with internal and external customers
  • High attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence, and good judgment
