The Work You'll Do:

As a QA Engineer II, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that Sovos' cutting-edge software solutions perform flawlessly for our customers. This is your chance to dive into a collaborative and innovative environment where your technical skills will directly impact the quality of our products. You'll be at the forefront of driving automation, solving complex challenges, and influencing a talented team of engineers. More specifically, you will:

  • Create, maintain, and improve regression tests and product documentation.
  • Identify areas for automation to enhance test stability and support continuous integration.
  • Debug and improve automated test scripts and troubleshoot basic bugs.
  • Actively participate in the code release process and contribute to team decisions to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop a broad understanding of the product to assist with onboarding and cross-team collaboration.
  • Proactively communicate product knowledge and dependencies to support collaboration between development and other teams.
  • Recognize valuable insights, share knowledge with the team, and promote Sovos Core Values and Global QA Practices.
  • Manage competing priorities effectively while supporting the team in updating activity status and progress.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • 1-4 years of experience in QA or a related role.
  • Familiarity with Sovos' SDLC and SCRUM processes.
  • Strong understanding of product functionality, with the ability to contribute to higher-quality planning and estimation.
  • Experience with issue triage, basic troubleshooting, and bug reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and support team collaboration.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check, including drug screen
