The Work You'll Do:

We are continuing to build our Center of Excellence in Argentina for our world class Product Development and are looking for a talented Agile Leader III to join our team! As our Agile Leader III, you will be working with teams of highly skilled and experienced engineers in one of the most focused project areas for Sovos globally but will also have the ability to influence other cross functional teams.

  More specifically, you will:
  • Share learnings in an engaging way and recognize when and how to share globally
  • Coach others globally to understand how Agile/Scrum frameworks are an asset
  • Help others inside and outside Product Development to apply Agile Principles in targeted ways
  • Facilitate scope and timeline negotiation at the Epic and Roadmap level
  • Handle the most complex software delivery projects
  • Facilitate larger-scale initiatives to build out and improve our build automation and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
  • Push the boundaries of Sovos software delivery practices by partnering with innovators within Sovos and helping them communicate and enact change.
  • Get key messages across the organization in a way that is inspiring and motivating. Understands how to influence and negotiate outcomes.
  • Invest in the development of the team. Understand how to provide constructive feedback. Actively engage in coaching and mentoring.
  • Able to handle the most complex software delivery projects
  • Communicate with impact consistently and foster collaboration between teams.
  • Support team decisions and share responsibility with team for successes and failures.
  • Build an effective team by creating trust, mining for conflict, establishing commitment, and creating joint accountability in order to drive results.
  • Effectively manage the change curve for complex or impactful changes.
  • Coach and counsel to improve understanding

What We Need From You:

  • Experience in a scrum master/ agile leader role or working in scrum teams as a collaborative team leader
  • Scrum Master/Agile Leader Certification
  • Familiarity with software development essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Good knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP etc.)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Business level capability in English (written and spoken)
  • Problem-solving, continual improvement and conflict-resolution ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills and familiarity with Jira
