The Work You'll Do: 

The Partner Account Manager is responsible for sustaining productive business relationships with ISV embedded partner and partner prospects who either resell the Sovos platform or provide referrals that deliver incremental new business. This will be accomplished by developing and executing a comprehensive partner-driven sales and go-to-market plan.

More specifically you will:

• As a member of the Partner & Alliances team, consistently deliver new revenues and meet agreed bookings quotas by selling with and through assigned partners

• Recruit, onboard and develop sales plans with assigned partner prospects

• Develop and execute a detailed territory plan to maximize partner-driven sales opportunities

• Grow and manage a quality pipeline of prospect partners

• Nurture and improve working relationships with and business contributions from the existing/assigned partners

• Based on primary & secondary market research data, build and/or refine strategies for expanding market reach and accelerating market penetration through ISV embedded partners

• Actively engage with existing & new partners to enhance awareness about Sovos’ global Tax Compliance solutions

• Build strong relationships and robust cadence with partners’ direct & indirect sales channels to identify new market/client opportunities

• Conduct quarterly business reviews with partners to drive consistent productivity against agreed KPIs

• Educate and mobilize internal business partners to support key ISV embedded sales objectives

 

What We Need From You: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education & experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, channel sales, channel marketing or business development

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals

• Experience selling SaaS solution preferred

• Successful track record of selling to large enterprises, managing complex sales cycles and interacting with senior executives

• Ability to listen and communicate effectively over the phone and in person

• Strong written & verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated team player who has a strong drive to exceed goals
