The Work You'll Do:

The Software Architect is leading the design and development of the next generation of global web application products for a high-growth SaaS solution provider. This position will provide leadership across a number of functional and technical areas of Product Development, including business analysis, application design, development, integration and delivery and modern web frameworks used for building Single Page Applications. The organization will depend on this person's expertise and experience with complex technical activities.

More specifically you will:

• Design and architects web applications using modern frameworks
• Prepare technical design documents and blueprints for applications
• Design API interfaces; integrates them with technical design
• Lead the team to build highly scalable solutions which are instrumented for monitoring and user feedback
• Design and develop mobile apps for iOS and / or Android, and Web applications with Rich User Interface
• Work with business stakeholders to ensure the product meets all functional requirements
• Create and evaluates technical alternatives for complex applications
• Understand and apply expertise in solutions architecture designs and concepts, which include but are not limited to: SDLC Process, Security, high availability, recovery, performance, monitoring and operations design, and application architecture
• Design and develop hybrid solutions for multiple mobile platforms with HTML5/CSS/JS as well mobility frameworks - Proven experience designing and developing large distributed solutions in either JEE or .NET and working knowledge of the other
• Work as an agile architect in a environment which utilizes Scrum methodology
• Serve as a principal technical client advocate and liaison.
• Develop deployment integration architecture and recommend an execution plan
• Develop appropriate architecture design sketches and documentation
• Monitor and provide guidance on and suggestions for continuous process improvement
• Adhere to a culture of professionalism, operational excellence and drive for results
• Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action

What do we need from you

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience with some combination of solution architecture, design and estimation, and some technical project management.
• Experience leading teams for software product companies
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to multi-task.
• Technology experience must include JavaScript and appropriate UI frameworks with experience in either Java/.NET service oriented systems
• Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects and motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as attention to detail
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills in portuguese and english
• Ability to work well individually and within a cross functional team
• Excellent communication, analytic and problem solving skills; sound business acumen
