The Work You'll Do:

The main responsibility of this position is to ensure the quality of products, tools, and services developed by Sovos. The person in this role must understand problems and proposed solutions, as well as estimate the effort required to test stories. Communication and teamwork are essential in daily activities, along with the ability to provide support to other team members when needed.

More specifically, you will:

• Analyze and understand software modules being modified and design a test plan
• Perform impact analysis to assess changes in software functionality
• Write test cases to validate software requirements
• Create, use, and maintain regression test suites and plans
• Develop and execute test scenarios
• Execute test cases, both manual and automated
• Identify opportunities for test automation
• Maintain and enhance automated test scripts
• Actively participate in team meetings
• Understand the release process and its impact on the team

What We Need From You

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) or relevant experience
• English proficiency at an intermediate level (written and verbal)
• Two years of related work experience in software testing
• Understanding of agile methodology and software development processes
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
• Willingness to work from our local office when needed
