The Work You'll Do:

This role is responsible for generating market interest in Sovos’ solutions and services by scheduling sales meetings with potential business prospects. Through networking, outreach, and following up on marketing campaigns, the representative will engage with businesses and introduce them to Sovos’ solutions.

More specifically, you will:

  • Use discretion and independent judgment to support Sovos’ marketing and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to support the implementation of Sovos’ products and services.
  • Contribute to the team’s achievement of outreach and revenue goals.
  • Independently and effectively introduce and promote Sovos’ solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Meet pipeline creation and revenue targets.
  • Partner with Sales Executives to develop and execute territory plans.
  • Utilize structured outreach and sales processes.
  • Develop and deliver regular forecasts of revenue goals and outreach objectives.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to outreach strategies, processes, tools, and materials to benefit internal teams and external prospects.
  • Manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously and actively develop a strong pipeline.

What We Need From You

  • Up to 12 months of experience in a Business Development Representative role or a similar position, with a recommendation from a Business Development Manager.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding outreach targets for calls, meetings, and opportunities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to improving team performance.
  • Ability to engage effectively with mid-level and executive contacts at client organizations.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to present to small or large groups.
  • Strong planning, organization, and prioritization abilities.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Professional and positive demeanor when engaging with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with contact management solutions (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt in conversations.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire

What Does Sovos Offer You?

The initially defined starting on target earnings for this role may start between $70,000 - $80,000.  Actual hiring rate may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.  While we are committed to giving an overview of compensation, salary is just one component of our comprehensive Total Rewards package.
