The Work You'll Do:

The Customer Marketing Manager is a skilled and collaborative marketer who understands the power of advocacy marketing and the impact of the customer voice. This role is responsible for supporting and coordinating initiatives throughout the post-sale customer journey to drive engagement, increase value realization, reduce churn, and strengthen advocacy.

With experience in high-tech environments and a background in tax compliance, this individual will help implement customer programs that promote adoption of Sovos solutions, support customer retention, and elevate customer advocates. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with internal teams — including Customer Success, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Support, and Account Management — to ensure an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.

More specifically, you will:

·         Increase our list of referenceable customers through outreach campaigns, incentivized invitations and collaboration with sales.

·         Identify strong candidates for case studies in collaboration with product marketing and sales teams, coordinating outreach to secure interviews

·         End to end execution of seasonal client training webinars including promotional activities and speaker coordination

·         Collaborate with product marketing and subject matter experts to develop content for monthly/quarterly customer newsletters

·         Work with product teams and subject matter experts to execute bi-annual product user groups (virtual/in person)

·         Identify opportunities for segmented retention campaigns

·         Develop upsell / cross-sell campaigns in alignment with strategic initiatives

·         Foster strong working relationships with colleagues in marketing, sales, client operations, product management, and customer success

 

What We Need From You

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS customer marketing experience
  • Experience with reference programs and case study development
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with a customer-centric approach
  • Solution-oriented with an analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Creative mindset with a passion for engaging and motivating customers
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check including drug screen upon hire

 

What Does Sovos Offer You?

At Sovos, we are committed to offering competitive pay and benefits that reflect both industry and market standards.   

The initially defined starting annualized salary for this role may start between $63,000 - $87,000, with bonus opportunity.  Actual hiring rate may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.  While we are committed to giving an overview of compensation, salary is just one component of our comprehensive Total Rewards package.
